Summer Mini Marshes | July 2024

These mini marsh original paintings are a whimsical play on color. This series reminds me of a vintage story book my grandmother used to read me as a child. I love the simplicity of using just a couple of colors to depict a beautiful southern marsh. 

In this series I used my favorite summer colors and their compliments. I experimented with lines and blocks of color to depict these landscapes using gouache on paper.
